We are investigating why our service appears to be slow for past hours. It appears we are suffering downtime from a secondary machine. We are doing our best to resolve this problem as soon as possible. ETA is yet undefined but hopefully to be counted in hours.

EDIT: We are now fully back up and our services are fast as usual.

Fortunately we have just been able to find a solution to our shortage and we are progressively correcting the network issue we are facing. ETA 2 hours up to 72 depending your location.

Ten days after we gave you the last notice, we really thought we would be able to update you with a permanent resolution of the current problem we face. Unfortunately, we are still facing shortage in human capital to handle some of the underlying issues causing the current slowness/downtime. All our other capitals especially our resources and our security are in great shape, and we hope to resolve the shortage we have within next couple of days. At the moment, our site is accessible flawlessly from few alternate IP addresses but our main IP is currently limited in accessibility. This is the best state of service we can currently offer. Edit: We’re back up.

Edit 2: We’re back up but slow. It’s due to a connection problem as we don’t have enough capacity on our back up network. We’re trying to bring up our main network with network engineers.

We were experiencing some slowness yesterday due to some minor database corruption. This has now been resolved fully.

We have received reports of performance issues with the relevance of the search results. These issues has now been resolved and the search is now fully operational again.

We have made some changes to the way the avatar system works. As we would like to move to the new system as soon as possible, we have decided to reduce the work we have to do and trade it off with a few hours of downtime as a DNS update propagates with the avt4 server’s new IP address.

We’re aware we’re down at the moment and we’re working with network engineers to bring our site back up.

We have just updated our DNS settings, the site will be down for one or two hours for DNS updates to propagate. It shouldn’t take longer than that as our DNS time to live caches are set to 10 minutes.
